A new side of Boon brought new residents to what is now called “the lizard lounge”. We were wading in new waters, but willing to learn. When the opportunity presented itself to rescue a chameleon, that was born with dwarfism, we accepted. Mother Gothal came to us a quarter of the size she should have been. She was young but with a reduced life expectancy, we didn’t know what to expect. She was with us for almost 4 months before she started to refuse food, and the way she moved, was almost like she was stove up a bit. We found her one morning, sitting on her favorite branch. We hope that she went peacefully through the night.
